 Jesse Miles - Interim Pastor

Jesse, our current Interim Pastor, was born almost in the middle of the 20th Century, November 1950. He has been married to his wife, Kim, for 25 years. They have raised three wonderful daughters: Jessica, Jennifer and Julia. And they love spending time with their two grandchildren, Phillip and Naomi.

Jesse has filled the needed position as an Interim Pastor, at first in the Waynesboro (PA) and then Chambersburg (PA) Church of the Brethren. He has also provided "Long Term Pulpit Supply" (4 months) for St. Stephen's UCC in Cascades, MD.

Jesse loves to do his version of singing, to almost all forms of pop music from the 40s to the 80s. He says he sounds the best when he’s driving anywhere, with the windows up, by himself. Other than that, he likes to read books, watch some TV, or listen to music.

You are all invited to come most Sundays and hear his take on God’s Story/Our Story.

Brandon R. Grady - Director of Caregiving Ministries

Brandon was born in India in 1981. He was adopted at two years of age and grew up in Camp Hill, PA. Brandon has been totally blind since he turned 12 in 1993 -- the same year he was baptized – and believes blindness is God’s greatest gift to him as a minister. Brandon enjoys interacting with people and helping see the positive in life. At the same time, he is realistic about human struggle and likes to help persons walk through life wherever they are.

Brandon is a 2004 graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Performance with Voice Emphasis, and a 2008 graduate of Bethany Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. In the future, he plans to pursue a Doctorate of Ministry degree at Lancaster Theological Seminary with a thesis focusing on the Brethren Peace Position.

His hobbies include singing, something he does whenever he can -- yes, even in the shower! He has sung with many groups, including Out of the Darkness, which once performed at Black Rock. Brandon also enjoys listening to sports and attending some games. He follows Baltimore Orioles baseball, Philadelphia Eagles football, and Hershey Bears hockey.

Come as you are. Experience God's love. Go out like Christ.
